This traditional hand-woven French Savonnerie rug has a mole brown field interrupted by bold floral bouquets issued by stylized horns, enclosing a powder blue cartouche panel medallion with inner golden radiating rosette issuing stylized fan, framed by meandering floral vine and scrolling acanthus leaves, in a majestic border of polychrome wandering acanthus plants and floral swags, enclosed by a burgundy jeweled border, between delicate line stripes.
