This traditional hand-woven Persian Kerman rug has a shaded medium-blue field with four horizontal rows of four bold palmettes containing dense flowering vines linked by flowerheads and a variety of different floral motifs, in a shaded pine border of angular floral vines, an inscription panel at one end between charcoal-black and ivory similar floral vine stripes. Another inscription panel at the other end with ivory outer floral vines.
