This hand-woven Belgian Flemish tapestry is made in wools and silks, depicting a violent battle scene with rearing horses, wounded soldiers in armor, surrounded by the sea and further figures in rowing boats, in the background a tree on a hill outcrop and to the left another leafy tree, in a border depicting a variety of musical instruments between stripes.
