This traditional hand-woven French Savonnerie rug has a rust-brown field scattered with rosettes around a central ivory roundel with a central radiating rosette surrounded by a garland of wheat tied with flowerheads, the golden-yellow frame cusped border with a floral garland wreath swag tied with a rosette and a ribbon, large triple floral bouquets in each corner with a floral bouquet between each cusp, the outer frame of tied wheat and flowerheads, plain outer stripes.
