This traditional hand-woven Persian Khorassan rug has this extremely fine piece is in perfect mint condition, of museum quality. A shaded magenta field with an overall design of delicate floral vine together with stylized cypress trees and polychrome palmettes, in a shaded sky-blue border with palmettes issuing angled geometric vine forming lozenges, between polychrome floral vine issuing lozenge stripes, with inner geometric line stripe and outter skittle-pattern stripe, plain shaded blue-green outer stripe.
