This traditional hand-woven Persian Khorassan rug has an overall beige field of oblong cartouches, each enclosing dense floral motif, issuing scrolling vine forming lozenge lattice of further floral decorations, in an indigo border of linked cartouches and lozenges, in a profusion of delicate vine stripes.
