This traditional hand-woven Persian Kerman rug has a shaded ruby field of palmette pendants weaving grand vine forming cartouche lozenge enclosing dense floral and cypress tree motif, enclosing and overlapping an unusual roundel medallion, in an ivory border of similar motif and cypress trees, between detailed floral vine stripes.
