This traditional hand-woven Samarkand Khotan rug has a shaded golden brown field with sparse sprays of auspicious symbols enclosing a triple column of roundel medallions, enclosed by Chinese geometric spandrels, in an elegant tonal cloud motif border, and inner key pattern stripe.
