This traditional hand-woven Persian Serapi rug has an elegant shaded rust field of sparse angled paisley vines, enclosing an angled coral indigo medallion of tribal palmettes and floral motif, with shaded beige spandrels of similar motif, in a complementary shaded rust linked polychrome turtle palmette border, between delicately laced floral stripes.
