This traditional hand-woven Persian Serapi rug has a brilliant shaded ruby field of sparse angled palmette and tendril vines, enclosing a shaded java brown meandering lozenge medallion, in a shaded ivory and pastel blue sparse meandering palmette and floral cartouche border, between distinct ruby floral vine stripes.
