This vintage, circa 1950, Heriz runner has a shaded grey field scattered with a variety of angular floral motifs around a column of brick-red stepped panels with a central lozenge issuing angular vines and serrated leaves alternating with two ivory square panels containing square grey panels with an angular hooked tree motif, surrounded by a brick-red band with delicate lozenges enclosed within a narrow ivory band of meandering vine issuing angular brick-red motifs, outer ivory stepped lozenge stripe.
