This antique, circa 1890, Khotan runner has a field with eight horizontal polychrome panels each with a vase issuing an angular pomegranate vine, the polychrome arched panel above with stylized flowerheads, in a brick-red surrounding minor stripe with linked flowerheads, in a pistachio-green border of polychrome floral and lozenge vines, outer plain brick-red stripe.
