This antique, circa 1900, Persian Serab runner has a light-camel field with a paisley in each corner and a central column of five linked serrated lozenges four containing a central lozenge with three linked panels and one with a cruciform motif issuing angular hooked vine each surrounded by a buff-brown plain or with angular floral motifs, the charcoal-brown inner stripe with brick-red and ivory stellar flowerheads, outer light-camel stripe with brick-red minor angular floral motifs.
