This antique, circa 1900, Persian Serab runner has a shaded camel-brown field with a vertical row of linked serrated golden-yellow alternating with ivory lozenges each containing a central rosette lozenge issuing four polychrome lozenges with four indigo-blue floral panels, the lozenges flanked by paired linked angular stylized plants, in an ivory border of polychrome floral and paneled vine between shaded blue and dusty-pink lozenge and ribbon vine stripes, outer camel-brown broad stripe scattered with floral motifs.
