This vintage Persian Balouch flatweave rug has a shaded steel-blue field with five horizontal bands of dusty-pink linked serrated lozenges each with a central steel-blue and tomato-red lozenge, enclosed by an indigo narrow stripe with burgundy-red stellar-flowerheads, above a similar arched panel containing double vertical rows of dusty-pink serrated lozenges and at each side similar, a flatweave steel-blue panel at each end containing dusty-pink minor panels each with a central S-motif outer dusty-pink plain stripe.
