This traditional hand-woven Persian Bakhshaish rug has a shaded light blue field with an overall design of lattice vine forming rows of lozenges, each containing vertical stylized small plants around larger palmettes and serrated leaves, in a brick-red rosette and serrated leaf vine border between ivory angular floral vine stripes, outer plain camel-brown stripe.
