This hand-woven Belgian Brussels Mythological tapestry is made in wools and silks, depicting a General surrounded by soldiers and courtiers, one holding the headless and armored covered body of a man, in the background a battle scene with surrounding trees and buildings, in a broad panelled border each containing a different pictorial scene and a variety of allegorical subjects.
