This traditional hand-woven Persian Serapi rug has a shaded ivory field of dense angled vines issuing palmettes and branching tendrils, enclosing a majestic shaded mahogany medallion radiating similar geometric vines and floral motif, with shaded brick-red spandrels enclosing similar motif, in a shaded mahogany brown linked turtle palmette border, between detailed ivory floral stripes.
