This antique Khotan rug has a golden-yellow field scattered with dusty-pink flowering plants and lozenges issuing flowerheads around a column of three dusty-pink roundels each with a band of floral motifs enclosing a central charcoal-blue circular smaller roundel containing a central stepped panel issuing pomegranates, in a charcoal-blue border with an angular dusty-pink and ivory angular flowerhead and leafy vine between plain narrow stripes, outer polychrome key-pattern linked panel diagonal stripes.
