This antique, circa 1900, Karabagh runner has a charcoal-blue field with a central column of ivory and brick-red cusped lozenges alternating with fox-brown lozenges each containing a central rosette surrounded by floral motifs, flanked at each side by part-lozenges and angular hooked and stepped square floral panels, in a narrow fox-brown, ivory and apricot floral vine border between ivory and rust-red hooked lozenge and plain indigo stripes.
