This antique, circa 1900, Serab Runner has a pale ivory field with a central column of three linked medallions each with an indigo-blue central serrated lozenge with angular palmette pendants enclosing a fox-brown small lozenge issuing angular floral and leafy vine surrounded by a delicate buff-brown narrow lattice, the pale ivory linked spandrels with a curved indigo leaf and an inward facing floral motif, repeated above and below the central lozenge to each side of the three lozenges several small inward facing triangular lozenges, in pale ivory border with brick-red and blue panels divided by two rows of linked lozenges between fox-brown meandering floral and brick-red and indigo-blue reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes.
