This vintage, circa 1960, Turkish rug features a soft apricot field around a golden-yellow stepped central lozenge medallion with delicate floral pendants the stepped floral centerpiece surrounded by scattered flowerhead and flowering plants, the bold stepped linked soft grey spandrels each with an angular flowering plant, a soft grey panel at each end with stepped part lozenges and double zig-zag stripes, in a tobacco-brown border of stylized flowering stripes alternating with floral lozenges between steel-grey trellis stripes, outer sandy-yellow X-motif and plain chocolate-brown stripe.
