This antique, circa 1900, Khotan runner has a shaded steel-blue field with an overall design of shaded ivory and terracotta-pink flowering plants each issuing a pair of broad leafy branches with flowerhead stems and terminating at each side with a pomegranate, in a sandy-yellow border of hooked linked lozenge panels between steel-blue lozenge and sandy-yellow stripes.
