This antique, circa 1900, Khotan runner has a field with soft-terracotta stepped and linked lozenges each with delicate floral motifs around a central fox-red and lilac stepped lozenges with floral and leaf motifs, the sandy-yellow part lozenges at each side and end with similar floral and leaf motifs, in a double striped border of linked floral panels and meandering floral vines, outer linked lozenge minor stripes.
