This antique, circa 1900, Khotan runner has a steel-gray field with an overall design with a vase at each end issuing of coral-pink dense angular leaf vine issuing pomegranates, in a border of polychrome zig-zag serrated stripes with an outer row of stylised polychrome inward facing cloud motifs between plain narrow chocolate-brown and coral-pink stripes.
