Aubusson

This traditional hand-woven French Aubusson rug has a fox-brown field with a band of vine leaves linked at each corner by a rosette around a central ivory roundel containing a flowerhead centerpiece surrounded by a garland wreath issuing a floral vase at each end linked by bold acanthus leaf and floral scrolling swags, in a fox-brown acanthus leaf and floral vine border, light green inner rope stripe, outer plain stripes.
