This traditional hand-woven Persian Khorassan rug has an extremely fine shaded medium blue field with an overall design of caramel-ivory palmette vines forming a stylized lattice issued from rows of lozenges with central rosettes, in an ivory border of alternating palmettes issuing paisley vines and floral vine motifs, between broad caramel palmette vine borders, enclosed by triple polychrome floral and geometric vine stripes.
