This traditional hand-woven silk Turkish rug has a shaded jade and majestic rust-red field of dense stylized scrolling floral vines, enclosing a refined beige arabesque medallion of similar dense motif, in triple paneled spandrels of cypress trees and faunae grazing motif, in an elegant ivory border of cartouches and pictorial pendants, each overlaid and inspired by cypress motif, between delicate laced floral vine stripes.
