This antique, circa 1910, Oushak runner has a tomato-red field with a column of three light blue serrated lozenge medallions each containing a central burnt-orange and moss-green shield motif surrounded by a variety of floral sprays, part-lozenges and hooked flowerheads issuing serrated leaves and further floral motifs, in a narrow light blue border with a delicate ribbon vine between moss-green and burgundy-brown reciprocal minor part-lozenge stripes, an inner light blue linked minor polychrome lozenge and a plain outer tomato-red stripe.
