This antique, circa 1900, Serab rug has a sandy-yellow field with an overall caramel-brown linked lozenge lattice each containing a small diamond motif around two central ivory lozenges with angular palmettes each with a central angular flowerhead surrounded by angular shield lozenges, the linked spandrels similar, in a caramel-brown border of angular moss-green vine linking polychrome angular floral lozenges, between light blue and shaded brown reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes.
