This handwoven Swedish-style rug has a central field with six horizontal bands of five square panels with a shaded sandy-yellow surround enclosing chocolate-brown paired part lozenges above and below divided by a chocolate-brown narrow double stripe with an ivory and brick-red dots, the squares linked by a light brown and ivory zig-zag panel each with a brick-red double stripe with ivory and golden-yellow dots, horizontal steel-blue bands with similar part triangular lozenges a golden-yellow and sandy-yellow narrow stripe through the centre to the edge, outer charcoal-brown stripe, with a golden-yellow, narrow plain chocolate-brown double stripe enclosing a, ivory and brick-red narrow paneled stripe at each end.
