This hand-woven Belgian Flemish Historical tapestry is made in wools and silks, depicting a central religious figure flanked by another religious figure and a soldier with a female figure offering a male child with other further figures carrying gifts, in the background are buildings and a town in the vista with further soldiers in the middle distance surrounded by a copse of trees, the border with delicate floral sprays and floral vases alternating with allegorical figures between plain and linked meandering vine and frame stripes.
